Start by cutting the stem off the zucchini.
Then cut the zucchini in half (through its circumference). Then cut those two round halves in half down the length of the zucchini. So, you should have 4 long moon shaped pieces at this point for slicing again into zucchini sticks.
Once you have finished slicing the zucchini, place a medium skillet on the stove with the avocado oil. Spread the avocado oil evenly across the pan. Then set the burner temperature to medium-low.
Quickly arrange the zucchini sticks in the skillet making a single layer. Then set a time for 3 minutes. With the timer going, use your fingers to lightly sprinkle the seasoning on each piece of zucchini (save half for the opposite side).
After 3 minutes, flip the zucchini over to quickly brown the other side. It will take about 1 minute to brown the opposite side, so you can quickly sprinkle a little more ranch mix and black pepper on this side.
After a minute or so, remove the sauteed zucchini from the skillet and eat up!
