Ingredients

The keto lime popsicles are made with only a few simple ingredients. The recipe includes fresh squeezed lime juice, distilled water, sugar free syrup, and colorant! Once the limes are squeezed, you will have to remove any seeds. You can use a sieve to quickly remove the sieves and the pulp if you do not care for it. Keep in mind that this recipe is very exact. So, if you remove the pulp, be sure to squeeze as much of the juice out as possible. Distilled water is used because it is usually fresher and tastes better than tap water. Sugar free pancake syrup is used because it does not have much of an artificial taste like most sugar substitutes. The syrup is sweetener with a sugar alcohol and therefore contributes 0 net carbs. Plus the taste just goes really well with the fresh squeezed lime juice in these keto lime popsicles. And lastly, two food colorants are used to make the keto popsicles that much more enjoyable. To achieve the pretty lime green needed for the keto lime popsicles, 2 parts yellow and 1 part green are used.

The Molds

To keep your life simple, remember to place the rubber mold(s) on something rigid and freezer safe before you pour the popsicle mixture. I use a plastic rectangular shaped storage container lid. It works well and saves a little space. However, a cookie sheet should work just as well. And, do not forget the sticks! They must be inserted before you pour the mixture. At the time of my ordering these popsicle molds, they came with plastic bags for you to easily store any extra popsicles. So, it works out really well for your own personal use. However, it also works out really well for your next backyard family gathering.
