Simple Bacon Omelette Recipe
I had fun “designing” this simple bacon omelette recipe for breakfast! As an on-the-go low carb dieter, I am always looking for ways to mix my low carb breakfast up a bit. So, I made this simple bacon omelette recipe like an abstract.
With that said, this is a really easy and tasty microwaved egg omelette recipe. I only used a few ingredients including a pre-cooked strip of bacon, pepper jack cheese, tomato, and green onion. I prefer to use turkey bacon. However, I had leftover bacon from another recipe that needed a more crisp traditional piece of bacon.

Simple Bacon Omelette Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 1 Bacon Slice (Precooked)
- 1/2 Stick of Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1/16 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Green Onions Chopped
- 1 tbsp. Roma Tomato Diced
Instructions
- Start by adding one egg to a small palm-sized microwave safe bowl.
- Gently stir to mix the egg yolk and egg white together.
- Top with a cooked strip of bacon on one side and the pepper jack cheese on the other.
- Place a paper towel over the bowl to loosely cover.
- Then microwave this simple bacon omelette recipe for one minute.
- Allow time to cool before checking to see how much more time is needed to cook.
- Remove the cooked simple bacon omelette recipe from the microwave and add diced tomatoes.
- If your omelette formed a small crater where the stick of pepper jack cheese was place, you can add your tomatoes there.
- Lastly, top this simple bacon omelette recipe with a few fresh green onions.
