Low Carb Asian Black Pepper Chicken Recipe

This Low Carb Asian Black Pepper Chicken is simple, yet delicious! I made it with a few key ingredients and then made the flavor really pop with some fresh cut green onions. So, this is definitely a simple on-the-go recipe!

However, this low carb Asian black pepper chicken recipe would also go nicely with our low carb chicken cabbage recipe. This is of course assuming that you have time to sit down and enjoy a delicious low carb meal.

Using a skillet, I marinated or seasoned boneless chicken in soy sauce, olive oil, black pepper, and garlic powder.  Then, I added a dash of sea salt. However, you may or may not want to add a dash of Mediterranean salt because soy sauce is already pretty salty.  I placed it on the stove to cook and 25 – 30 minutes later I was able to eat this low carb asian black pepper chicken all by itself!

Low Carb Asian Black Pepper Chicken Recipe

Asian Black Pepper Chicken

Stove: Medium-High | Cook: 25-35 mins | Serves: 1-4

Ingredients:

4 Thawed Chicken Breast or Boneless Thighs

4 Tbsp. Kikkoman Soy Sauce

2 Tbsp. Water

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

1-1/2  Tsp. Garlic Powder

1 Tsp. Black Pepper

Mediterranean Sea Salt (optional, as needed)

Fresh Jalapeno Pepper (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Marinate both sides of the chicken in a skillet with soy sauce, olive oil, and water.
  2. Next, season both sides of the chicken with black pepper, garlic powder, and a little salt.
  3. Then place the skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. (If you want to make it spicier, add fresh cut jalapeno pepper slices or chunks.
  4. After the meat cooks for about 15 minutes, flip the chicken over to allow the other side to cook all the way.
  5. Once the meat is cooked, you can serve it on a plate and then add fresh cut green onions to garnish and complete the flavor.
