Bacon Cream Cheese Dip (with Green Onions)
Low carb diet, keto diet, or no diet at all, this bacon cream cheese dip with green onions is just good! This simple bacon cream cheese dip is tasty and very filling. I recommend eating this dip with one of our low carb crackers.
A single serving of this recipe includes two tablespoons of fat free cream cheese, one green onion, one strip of crunchy cooked bacon, and one teaspoon of minced serrano pepper. Therefore, it is a very thick and creamy spread or dip.
Since I follow a strict low carb diet which is basically a healthy keto diet, I use fat free cream cheese. In this way, my main ingredient is fat free and cholesterol free. However, you can easily turn this into a fat bomb-style bacon cream cheese dip by using a full fat cream cheese.
I typically eat this bacon cream cheese dip with an entire bag of almond flour flax crackers. The entire bag is about 36 grams of fat, 36 milligrams of sodium, and 90 milligrams of cholesterol (less than the amount found in one egg). So, ultimately eating an entire bag of crackers are a healthy “fat bomb.”

2 Tbsp. Fat Free Cream Cheese
1 Green Onion
1 Serrano Pepper
1 Slice of Bacon
- Place a slice of bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook until crispy.
- Using a small shallow microwave safe bowl, add cream cheese.
- Microwave for 20-30 seconds.
- Slice green onion and serrano pepper and then add to warmed cream cheese.
- Crumble cooked bacon and sprinkle with a bit of garlic powder.
- Stir until well-blended.
- Enjoy with a low carb cracker.
I hope you enjoy this simple low carb bacon cream cheese dip with green onions as much as I do. However, keep in mind that some serrano peppers are hotter than others. And at times, they may take a while for the spiciness to penetrate the dip. It has been my experience that the dip gets spicier as it sits in the refrigerator. So, if you are going to eat it later, do not immediately keep adding serrano peppers to make it spicier.
