Low Carb Pizza Recipe (Spicy Pepperoni)

This pepperoni pizza recipe is one of the more popular kinds of pizzas made. While using pepperoni results in a delicious low carb pizza recipe, it is also simple to make. This low carb pizza recipe is a low carb, high fat recipe. Therefore, you will not have low carb munchies soon after eating this pizza. Pepperoni is a low carb meat, however, it is not a lean meat. Then, I added cheese which is another low carb food that is higher in fat. So, do not let this mini low carb pizza fool you – you will be quite satisfied after eating it.

1 Small Pizza Crust (recipe)
1-2 tbsp. Tomato Paste
5 – 10 Pepperoni Slices
1/4 tsp. Minced Garlic
Dash of cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 tsp. Diced Jalapenos
1 tsp. Jalapeno Juice
1/2 c. Shredded Pizza Cheese or Mozzarella & Parmesan
- Place cooked pizza crust on a pizza pan or cookie sheet.
- Preheat oven.
- Mix tomato paste, jalapeno juice, cayenne pepper, and garlic in small microwave safe bowl.
- Heat mixture for 20 – 30 seconds or until warm.
- Spread tomato paste across pizza crust.
- Add pepperoni, cheese, and diced jalapeno.
- Bake until cheese melts and pizza toppings are warm.
- Enjoy this low carb pizza recipe while it is hot.
This is a really easy low carb pizza recipe. I like my pepperoni pizza recipe to be a little spicy. However, you can easily adapt the recipe to make a regular pepperoni pizza. Simply omit the spicy ingredients! Then use a little water to thin out the paste instead of jalapeno juice.
I find the fresh pizza crust to be the best. However, you can make an extra pizza crust and store it in the refrigerator for a day. When you get ready to use it with your low carb pizza recipe, preheat the oven to 300 degrees. In this way, you can let the pizza topping warm up slowly without over-cooking the crust.
