Healthy Bottled Drinks

 1. Waters

According to USGS Water Science School, the human body is made of up to 60% water. Therefore, some of the best low carb drinks are high-quality waters. Water is one of the healthiest low carb diet drinks available. However, I recommend that you drink bottled water, not faucet water. All water is not the same. So, if you are going to start drinking healthy low carb water, you can check out some quick water reviews of my favorite brands of waters.

2. Vinegars

Apple Cider Vinegar (with mother) and Coconut Vinegar (with mother) are additional healthy low carb diet drinks that must be diluted. So, the bottles of pure apple cider vinegar with mother should last you for a while. I keep a bottle on hand to add about one tablespoon to at least a 16 ounce bottle of water. However, there are nice on-the-go low carb apple cider vinegar drink options as well. Drinking vinegar may require a little getting use to because it is an mild acid. But overall, they are quite tasty when diluted properly with water. They are good low carb diet drinks because they are low carb and increase your energy for better weight loss. You can view some of our recommended on-the-go vinegar selections here. You can also read about the health benefits of drinking apple cider vinegar.

3. Probiotics

With medical scientist discovering that the intestinal tract plays a major role in immunity, probiotic drinks have become very popular. According to the New England Journal of Medicine, immunity is regulated by intestinal genes that can be turned on and off based on the foods that we eat and drink.

Probiotics can play a major role in the overall intestinal and physical health. Therefore, it is good to keep the intestines lined with good bacteria to fight off the bad bacteria. The British Society of Immunology elaborates well on that subject.

Therefore, I drink and take probiotic supplements routinely. So, listen up if you are on a low carb diet for health reasons. There are likely hundreds of probiotic drinks on the market, however, many of them are not low carb diet drinks – they are full of sugars that feed bad bacteria. Therefore, be selective. You can read the Suja Vibrant Probiotic drink review. However, you can look for some of my low carb Kombucha probiotic drink reviews.

4. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is a healthy low carb gelatinous drink derived from the Aloe Vera plant. It is a popular digestive aid with natural antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal properties. Therefore, this drink is recommended for anyone on a low carb diet. However, it is highly recommended for anyone on a low carb diet to improve candida yeast overgrowth and/or leaky gut syndrome. It too is a great tasting beneficial drink. The taste reminds me of fresh green coconut water served alongside the road in many islands. The coconut water sold in local stores tastes nothing like fresh coconut water.

5. Sugar-Free

While some sugar serves a very useful purpose in our bodies, it is extremely easy to over-indulge. Because of this, switching to sugar-free low carb drinks is a great way to start a low carb diet. If you read my quick “how-to” start a low carb diet guide, you already know that this is a good place to start. Many sugar-free low carb drinks are quite tasty – there are several that I enjoy regularly.

6. Energy

As mentioned, life keeps us going. So, low carb energy drinks are my friend in the summer when it is too warm for me to drink low carb hot tea, coffee, or chocolate throughout the day.

7. Teas

Low carb tea drinks are popular low carb diet drinks. They are naturally low carb, without any added sugar. But you have to watch out for the bottle teas because most are filled with sugar (carbs)! However, without the added sugar, there are many health benefits of drinking tea.

8. Coffees

Like most things, coffee is an acquired taste. It seems like once you get a taste for it, you got it. Once, I decided to stop drinking so much coffee. So, for the first time, I started drinking tea. Well, to make a short story, I have not stopped drinking coffee or tea. But, I have learned how to make low carb iced coffee because most store bought iced coffee drinks are not low carb. However, you can peruse our collection of low carb coffee drinks, recipes, and reviews to learn how you can still enjoy drinking coffee.

9. Chocolates

Many think of enjoying low carb chocolate drinks in the winter. But, low carb dark chocolate is very beneficial to our health. Because of this, I recommend that you incorporate it in your low carb diet plan year-round. You can read some of the health benefits of chocolate and check the blog for new low carb chocolate drinks.

Depending on the time of day and year, I endeavor to drink healthy low carb drinks. However, when it is hot, I find it hard to resist sipping on some of my favorite sugar-free low carb drinks. And, when needed, I enjoy a variety of low carb energy drinks to perk me up.  During the fall and winter months, I have often enjoyed different low carb teas and coffees. However, with the fall blues looming around the corner, I have been enjoying all-kinds of low carb chocolate teas
