Being on a low carb diet is not just about eating low carb diet foods, it is also about drinking tasty low carb diet drinks that can benefit your health. Low carb diet drinks can help you lose weight and keep it off.
While, I do not give any specific instructions on how to start a low carb diet, I do provide low carb diet tips and suggestions. And one of those recommendations include switching to low carb diet drinks first.
As an active low carber, I have found some of the best on-the-go low carb diet drinks. Therefore, I have separated them into various categories to make it simple. In general, the healthiest low carb diet drinks are sugar-free and benefits your health in some way.
Therefore, endeavor to drink low carb drinks with added health benefits like low carb coffee, tea, and chocolate. In this way, we can replenish our body with the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and energy it needs to lose weight. And finally, we can drink low carb diet drinks that benefit our gut health.
According to USGS Water Science School, the human body is made of up to 60% water. Therefore, some of the best low carb drinks are high-quality waters. Water is one of the healthiest low carb diet drinks available. However, I recommend that you drink bottled water, not faucet water. All water is not the same. Apple Cider Vinegar (with mother) and Coconut Vinegar (with mother) are additional healthy low carb diet drinks that must be diluted. So, the bottles of pure apple cider vinegar with mother should last you for a while. I keep a bottle on hand to add about one tablespoon to at least a 16 ounce bottle of water. However, there are nice on-the-go low carb apple cider vinegar drink options as well. Drinking vinegar may require a little getting use to because it is an mild acid. But overall, they are quite tasty when diluted properly with water. They are good low carb diet drinks because they are low carb and increase your energy for better weight loss. With medical scientist discovering that the intestinal tract plays a major role in immunity, probiotic drinks have become very popular. According to the New England Journal of Medicine, immunity is regulated by intestinal genes that can be turned on and off based on the foods that we eat and drink.
Probiotics can play a major role in the overall intestinal and physical health. Therefore, it is good to keep the intestines lined with good bacteria to fight off the bad bacteria. The British Society of Immunology elaborates well on that subject.
Therefore, I drink and take probiotic supplements routinely. So, listen up if you are on a low carb diet for health reasons. There are likely hundreds of probiotic drinks on the market, however, many of them are not low carb diet drinks – they are full of sugars that feed bad bacteria. Therefore, be selective. As mentioned, life keeps us going. So, low carb energy drinks are my friend in the summer when it is too warm for me to drink low carb hot tea, coffee, or chocolate throughout the day.
Low carb tea drinks are popular low carb diet drinks. They are naturally low carb, without any added sugar. But you have to watch out for the bottle teas because most are filled with sugar (carbs)! However, without the added sugar, there are many health benefits of drinking tea.
Like most things, coffee is an acquired taste. It seems like once you get a taste for it, you got it. Once, I decided to stop drinking so much coffee. So, for the first time, I started drinking tea.
