Low Carb Spinach Salad
You can enjoy a delicious low carb spinach salad recipe for lunch or dinner. It is a simple, yet ideal meal for anyone on a low carb diet plan. Especially because spinach is a dark, green, and leafy low carb vegetable. It is one of my favorite low carb vegetables to eat!
This low carb spinach salad extremely simple by making it with Hardwood Smoked Bacon, fresh spinach leaves, purple onions, hard-boiled egg, and a warm vinaigrette dressing. This low carb spinach salad goes very well with our warm Garlic Italian Herb Vinaigrette or Italian Parmesan keto salad dressing recipe.
I decided to use a regular pork bacon to get nice crisp piece of bacon, however, I normally use low-fat turkey bacon. A full fat dressing was used to contribute to your feeling full on a keto or low carb diet.
Once you warm and pour the dressing on this low carb spinach salad, get ready to eat! The spinach leaves will wilt a bit and turn this salad into somewhat of a warm dish to eat. Therefore, do not pour the dressing over the salad until you are ready to eat the salad.
- 1 1/2 c. Fresh Spinach Leaves
- 1 Boiled Egg
- Sliced Purple Onion
- 2 Sliced of Cooked Bacon
- Place fresh spinach leaves on a plate.
- Then sprinkle sliced purple onions on top of the spinach.
- Add peeled boiled egg to the side of the salad.
- Pour a warm vinaigrette dressing over the salad and toss lightly.
- Add 2 slices of cooked bacon to the top.
- Enjoy immediately.
